Q&A games, miniature models, shields... Here at the Pre-Romanesque Center of Asturias, we have a new section where kids can have fun while learning about art in the Kingdom of Asturias. We even have arts and crafts activities to enjoy with friends and family!
Need help? We'll give you a hint... All answers can be found on the Pre-Romanesque Center website. Once you've answered all the questions, you'll be an expert on this UNESCO World Heritage Site monument. Recommended for children ages 8-10.
Build Santa María de Naranco with these two printable, cut-out models. One model is easy and the other is a bit more difficult. Do you dare to build this monument?
San Salvador de Valdediós — also known locally as the "conventín," ("the little convent") — was built, and still stands, in Villaviciosa. But you can use this model to build it with your own two hands and place it wherever you would like!
After you've built these unique buildings, you'll need to defend and protect them so they’ll still be standing for another 1,000 years. To protect them well, you'll need these shields (which come with a handle). Print them out, glue them on cardboard and you've got yourself a shield to protect the pre-Romanesque monuments of Asturias.
